"Looks good",I said.I waited for the 2 guys there to finish their test rides of the new avenger 200 first. I generally do not like to ride a new bike for fear of scraping it.But I had a "go for it" attitude that somehow made me calmly hop onto the bike."1 up 4 down?", I enquired. I always do. Took it off the stand, it balanced nicely with its weight.I like the feeling. There is no kick start.The engine came to life nicely, into gear, revved a bit and it was off...well until I pressed the front brake!
A guy walking past, smiling at me, asked me if I liked the bike."Yes", I said. Do not think there was any arrogance in my answer.Strange! Well that was it. Wheeled it back to parking.I like the part where I kick the stand into place.Inclined the bike and hopped off.
Hmmm...I like the feeling of cruising on a black Avenger 200.With saddle bags mounted at the rear and a leather jacket in place.I have the boots.
But I think most of you would find the image funny.Well, lets just wait till a SUV lands in my garage.
Now back to a sleepy morning at work with no AC.Somehow going back and getting the bike started sounds very enticing.
